That would be my thought as well. With that kind of speed it would seem like hitting a moving target would be difficult. Sure, a ship isn’t a plane, but at that speed it seems like it would have the possibility of outrunning it’s targeting data. Things that fast (Like ICBMs) are typically targeted towards things that can’t get away.

And are generally armed such that a miss of a couple hundred yards doesn't matter much..
