You’re right. Fat Boy is seemingly more “cozy” to Putin than to Trump. Putin grabs his ankles; Trump shows a hand or fist.

Not me, either. Someone spent a boatload of money so Fat Boy could ride in comfort and prestige, instead of his usual covered wagon.

Bark sandwich?

Wow, you sold the Gullwing? Or the collector wouldn’t take the package without it?

Jay Leno has a car collection. I have a small gun collection. Takes up far less space but unlike Jay I’m sure I’m on some gubmint s***list.

A friend wants my old 450SE. He can have it if he moves it & promises not to part it out.

Acturly, the Norks have agents and business fronts all over the place.

Japan is infested with them, for one example. They’re all over the mideast, especially wherever there’s been attempts to run nuke/bio/rocket weapon programs. Norks often provide the science/technical crews for that.

And where would the Pakis get it?

Muslims don’t do for themselves on anything more complicated than chipping rocks or basic blacksmithing.

Back in the mid-70s, the 300SL Gullwing and 300 SLR (Roadster Convertible) were not very collectible, but fun to drive and definitely head-turners.

Mine were original paint and mechanicals, except for the mechanical fuel injection, which was a pain in the ass to find someone to rebuild.

I had to fly-in an older German mechanic from Jacksonville, put him up in a hotel, have his complete tool chests and FI parts trucked-in, to get the FIs rebuilt on the Gullwing and SLR.

Just too much finicky stuff on those cars, and parts were hard to locate. Even ‘repops’ weren’t being produced in any quantity, until the late 80s/early-90s. I had to have original body pieces, and good metal reworking shops were hard to find.

Collectors were, back then, into Porsches and Ferraris, not MBs. Tough market.

Pakistan began development of nuclear weapons in January 1972 under Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who delegated the program to the Chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) Munir Ahmad Khan with a commitment to having the bomb ready by the end of 1976.

Began the program, yes.

With Muslim brain trust doing all the work? Not. Even.

Foreigners are always used. Same with all the big building projects. A muslim will be assigned as the official face of the project but he aint the one doing the actual design or engineering.
