I sure hope Trump has his own hand-picked trustworthy people with him at all times. It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if there is an assassination attempt. Can you imagine the unhinged behavior that will follow his re-election? Or even before if Barr or others come too close to exposing those behind the coup.
I think we can think with certainty that Barr is working from mountains of incriminating evidence and is collating and organizing rather than investigating.
Trump has the goods.
Everybody including the masses of the guilty know it.
We (family) worry about this quite a bit - pray for the safety of President Trump and his family every day. I’ve heard bits and pieces here and there that he does have some private security still with him - no idea if it’s true or not. I’ll be anxious to hear Dan Bongino’s take on this (he has a really good daily podcast) - he makes no excuses for the USSS, but does explain how things like the Chinese spy getting into Mar a Lago happen.
I recall Trump was using his private security force.
Then when he got the nomination, government forced him into accepting the SS for protection.
As a side note: when I just typed ‘ss’ a awful chill came over me. Secret Service, the real ss.

What would happen if texts originating from a FBI agent to several [internals] discussed the assassination (possibility) of the POTUS or member of his family? What if the texts suggest foreign allies were involved?

I still hold that it was Trump’s private security he brought with him to the race that caught on very early on and he used this precious information to his advantage just as he should have and has let it cook nice and slow.

There have been more than 18 assassination attempts in the last 2+ years.
Trump has always had his own tight personal security around him and the USSS answer to them by his orders.
The USSS is needed because they are like a secret army unto themselves, their infrastructure and worldwide organization is needed but Trump’s personal security controls them.
The reference to firing the USSS Director is not the 1st time.
That Director did not step down but was fired after a prowler was caught at night on the WH grounds peeking through windows, was arrested, and rumored to be looking if the President’s young son could be kidnapped.
Security of President and family is paramount. Any breach results in immediate dismissal.
