Yes, he did, but I think it’s been going on a lot longer than that.
I suspect that those who desire power over others have been gravitating to the mechanisms of power for quite some time, and it’s happening all over the country in ever city, not just in DC.
People can have plenty of money,m but really want power and influence.
As our Federal Government grew to have tremendous influence in the lives of people , the power seekers would gravitate to it through getting elected or by controlling politicians to get their agendas implemented.
Washington is the place for power and influence and also to make money if you need that also.
These established people in both political parties are not going to put up with Donald Trump jeopardizing their Washington power and money influences. -tom
