Yes, alas . . . But was it Edmund Burke who said, "There's a deal of ruin in a nation"? The descent will be long and slow, with occasional hopeful signs (e.g., the election of Pres. Trump). But yeah, the Republic's best days are behind it.

It was dead on Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009 when ALL of elected and appointed clapped like trained seals for someone born a British subject and Kenyan national, but not a natural born citizen.
