The US Constitution and Sharia law are just about completely antithetical. But the Islamists know how to use the various phrases in the Constitution to tie the US law up in knots, while no similar effort is expended to show the vast number of contradictions that appear in Sharia law, and the confrontation is thrown down before the Muslim leaders elsewhere in the world.
