A rally to denounce the perceived censorship of politically conservative views and speech by social media drew dozens of right-wing demonstrators and counterprotesters to San Francisco City Hall on Friday.

Dubbed the “Demand Free Speech” rally, the event was intended to underscore the belief among many conservatives that companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter discriminate against right-wing viewpoints. Big tech companies have shown a clear bias against conservatives, they argue, as evidenced by the suspension or outright banning of right-wing users’ accounts.

Google, Facebook and Twitter DO discriminate against right-wing pro-American viewpoints.

Headline notwithstanding, it is interesting that the writer referred to some demonstrators repeatedly as right-wing while never describing the counterfeit demonstrators as left-wing.

A rally to denounce the perceived censorship of politically conservative views and speech by social media drew dozens of conservative demonstrators and radical left-wing counterprotesters to San Francisco City Hall on Friday.

There fixed it for them!

I believe that Google etc discriminate against freedom loving peoples partly because the employees are mostly H1B visa holders. The companies may be in the USA but the employees are not Americans, but are mainly foreigners who are here because their employers enjoy cheap labor.

Hit them with f'kn anti trust. I don't like this course of action, but this is war. One even uses poison gas in war sometimes (though I don't advocate that).

Also, Californication is trying to hold Pres. Trumps right to appear on the ballot hostate to releasing his tax returns? If they pull that stunt, prosecute Californication's derriere by using USC 18; sec. 242. Throw that slimey California's District Attorney in Jail. No more pussyfooting around!

Counterprotestors ...

Leftists always march with their flags held high on their path to the Gulag and Killing Fields.

Probably the editors did that so that the article would be "balanced". You know, like when they have a white liberal, a black liberal, an Asian liberal, a Hispanic liberal, and conservative and they considered that to be "diverse".

Communications Decency Act of 1996, Section 230: They are obligated to function as open platforms devoid of editing/publishing oversight, in exchange for liability protection.

A real Congress - one that actually represents the electorate, and is not financially beholden to Big Tech - could easily revoke their liability protection for the obvious violations.
