Sderot Mayor Alon Davidi criticized the ceasefire agreement reached with Hamas, asserting that only an operation like Protective Edge will achieve long-term quiet.
In an interview Tuesday morning with Haolam Haboker" on Channel 13, Davidi said that "We dont need to respond. We need to initiate.
"The reality is complex. We see the real heroes, the parents and the children, the older people who fight against the terrorism that comes from Gaza, and we have to strengthen them and tell them good job, and we continue to develop the city and the region, but we have to remember that Protective Edges achievements were exhausted."

May:
The strength of Samson,
The wisdom of Solomon and
The exuberance of David
be with each and every member of the Israeli armed forces
and the generals and ministers, too.
Yes. Gaza was an experiment which failed.Left to their own extreme leadership the Jordanian Arabs calling themselves Palestinians still hate the Israelis more than they love their children.
Time to clean out the nest of rats. The EU apologists will condemn them whatever they do. It is past time to act directly and agressively to end the Gaza question.
Why not just take Gaza back. It’s not like the Pali’s held up their end of the agreement
The Palies have been so blatant that I worry that they are trying to bait Israel into an attack.
They used a Kornet missle to destroy a civilian vehicle yesterday. That is a $100,000 missile that can destroy a main battle tank. They must have lots of them.
I have a bad feeling about this.
Pray for the safety of Israel.
Amen.
For every missile launched from Gaza, Israel should respond with a daisy-cutter.
They are using an Iranian missile with a range of 150 km carrying a 250lb warhead designed to explode 1400 feet above ground sending metal fragments toward the ground - it is designed to kill people rather than blow up buildings ... and yes they have a lot of them.
250 wounded, 5 or so dead in this latest 700 rocket barrage, mostly from the above missile.
Bulldoze a kilometer inside Gaza - every structure, every tree, leave nothing but flattened, empty land. If these evil thugs continue firing rockets, bulldoze another kilometer. Pretty soon no more terrorists or no more Gaza, but any terrorists near Israel will have nothing and no one to hide behind.
Interesting. How is it known it was a Kornet?

Respectfully, I think incrementalism has gotten them where they are today. They keep giving the occupants of the Gaza area one more chance, one more ceasefire.....until the next attack. It is past time to act decisively and gain a permanent solution to the terrorist Hamas regime.
For over 15 years they have tried to reach peace on a voluntary basis but this group of mongrels will never accept peace. A solution needs to be forced upon a group who are always bent upon the destruction of Israel.
The western European and United Notion allies of the Hamas terrorists will howl and have a temper tantrum, just as they did this time with a measured response by Israel. But partial efforts will not solve the underlying problem of a population determined to destroy the nation of Israel living within their borders. March, haul or drag the interlopers to Jordan or ship them to Germany by boat. Angie Merkel will love them to bits and the Jordanian Arabs will be at home OUTSIDE Israel. Finish the job that was delayed more than 15 years ago.

And who is going to run the place. Have to find a better dictator than Abbas, Hamas is going to take the West Bank over when he dies. But quiet, perhaps for awhile.
Thats my foreign policy in a nutshell.
Peace through victory. Works every time.
The fact that the US has mobilized a carrier group to the region in response to intelligence about Iranian plans is not unrelated, imho. That’s why I think it’s wise to keep a good reserve in the North.
It would work for them, too. It just hasn’t happened so far.
Dresdenize Gaza! It is the permanent solution.
?!
The only final solution is the Messianic era.
It’s not the only solution. For example the people of Gaza could decide they’ve had enough of Hamas and revolt. A “Gaza Spring” if you will...
