This whole new Defenders Of The Constitution trope is pretty funny given that the people bleating it have done their best to undermine the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 10th amendments when it suits them and are attempting to skirt the Electoral College in favor of a city-weighted popular vote. Tell me all about that reverence for the Constitution, Nan. Do tell.

This latest venture into the political morass is a blatant attempt to skew the election by keeping the President's name off the next election ballots. If they're worried he'll contest that, they're right, and so will anyone who respects decent and fair elections, our "Democracy" if you want to employ their own misused term. Being able to vote for anyone you want to so long as he's a Democrat is a good way to break the country.

It’s a familiar ring they use when they’re in over their heads...or caught behind a rock and hard place.

They always use ‘the Constitution’ and “children” as cannon fodder. Neither of which they have any association with until they need to use them for their cause..
