And now it’s the victims’ fault, as usual. She’d “been bullied” - frankly, I doubt it, most of the kids were probably puzzled, she probably wasn’t popular anyway so most of them didn’t even know her, and if she think’s she’s “transitioning,” she’s got problems anyway.
Not surprised this happened in an affluent, white area. Kids from that background seem to be the mostly likely to decide that God made a mistake. But we do have to ask why all these girls from that background are suddenly deciding they want to be boys.
I’d suspect a lot of it has to do with fear of/rejection of the sexual pressure on girls in those environments, things such as sexting, etc. Girls no longer feel they have any protection and probably don’t even feel that their terribly modern, totally amoral parents would provide them any protection from pressure from their sex-saturated environment and classmates. So what better than to suddenly decide you’re not a girl after all?
And since that’s a politically favored status, you can then get back at everybody around you.
