I agree with that. Their plan fell apart when Manafort's connections to Ukraine got leaked to the press prematurely in mid August. Hillary and Harry were both barking about Russians shortly after that..
I think the point Solomon was making was that all this happened within about two weeks before the election. That did not give them much time. That doesn’t mean they weren’t hoping though.
My exact thought about Page last night. He was all over the place and never finished a sentence. Hannity was at times finishing his sentences. Scattered guy.

Cruz was 'stealing' Trump delegates... Trump hired Manford to protect what he had legitimately won... But the Cruz plan was to take the campaign to the House of Representatives... Most especially since the Senate had no use for Ted Cruz begging Mitch the Senate to 'resolve' him to be eligible to hold the office of president... I suspect it was payback from the Bush clan.

Interesting point. Are you speculating, or have you seen a date when the FBI first started surveilling P? If you have, I’d be very interested in the date and info on where to find the reference.
My theory is that the plotters organized a media storm asking why Trump didn’t have any foreign policy advisors, to force Trump into announcing whatever marginal players he could scrape up. Once P was named, the plotters started after him. But if the FBI knew P would be in the running BEFORE any hint of it was public knowledge, either: they had a mole or moles in the Trump campaign already; they were surveilling the campaign’s communications; they were already surveilling P for other reasons; or, the FBI/CIA caused P to approach the campaign in the first place.

I think the FBI found out when Trump announced it. But P met Misfud in March and it wasn’t until May that Downer claims he spoke to P. So if Misfud was a plant then they were spying on P in mid March which begs the question why. In the Mueller report vol I, pp 81-2 it talks about emails that P had with the Trump campaign in February. It doesn’t say they talked about Russia but I would not be surprised if they did.

Yep, the laughter on all of the shows when anyone suggested Trump could win showed their fear. You get flak when you’re over the target.
Yes. Spying on other campaigns should definitely be looked into. There was no way that the Dem/DOJ cabal assumed, in 2015, that Trump would win the nomination. I’d bet good money they were spying on most if not all the campaigns.
