Thank you for referencing that article cuban leaf.

"City worker? That makes this a first amendment violation by the city."

Congress has the express 14th Amendment (14A) power to make punitive laws to discourage state actors from abridging rights that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect.

From the 14th Amendment:

H O W E V E R …

Because of inexcusable voter ignorance of the Constitution, we’re still stuck with a corrupt Congress that has a track record for letting state actors get away with abridging constitutionally enumerated protections, especially 1st Amendment protections evidenced by the example of this thread.

The Supreme Court had put it this way about Congress’s duty to protect constitutionally enumerated rights in Minor v. Happersett.

“3. The right of suffrage was not necessarily one of the privileges or immunities of citizenship before the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment, and that amendment does not add to these privileges and immunities. It simply furnishes additional guaranty for the protection of such as the citizen already had [emphasis added].” —Minor v. Happersett, 1874.

The remedy for a worthless Democratic / RINO Congress …

Patriots need to elect a new patriot Congress in the 2020 elections that will not only promise to support PDJT’s vision for MAGA, but will also promise to do its 14A duty to discourage state actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated rights.

Remember in November 2020!

MAGA!

Lack of praise is default interpreted as hate speech.

exactly- it’s now becoming a hate crime to voice an opinion- this is trampling 1’st amendment rights- The Scum of Westborrow baptist or whatever that hate group so called, can stand around saying the most hateful crap at soldier’s funerals, and they are protected by the
Supreme court ruling- but let someone make a comment on their own time and they lose their job?

If we manage to re-elect President Trump for another term (inspite of the massive fraud that’s going to occur next year), we will have four more years to clean up this mess or it’s going to be over but the shouting...

We will have to be on war footing...

City worker? That makes this a first amendment violation by the city.

Lying to try and cover it up probably gave the city all the cause they needed to terminate him.

Another example of why you should not be on “Facebook “ and also don’t insult people. But the reaction is definitely excessive. Shunning and shaming used to be the remedy for stupid statements but social media makes everything permanent. Deleting an old post that you may regret in hindsight is now called covering it up.

I’m not on Facebook and never will be. It is a fricking job that you work to make content that you don’t own and don’t get paid for either. All Facebook does is make other people rich. The excuse that it is a great way to stay in touch with family members is a cop out because we still have telephones and if you really care yhen dial a number but stop producing content for Facebook inc.

Think about that for a second. A government union worker is fired? You have to know under normal circumstance the guy would be very hard to fire no matter what they did. My guess is the union decided they wouldn’t stand behind him.

Well exercising my own free speech, as much as we have it, here in Canada, ending up costing me 10,000 in legal fees and 18,000 in fines. The “offense” happened in 2007 on what use to be called Free Dominion forum. At least you guys still have free speech - for now.
