Of course I believe in first amendment rights. But if you are stupid enough to make racist comments on social media it will likely come back to bite you. I would be fired for doing the same.

Freedom of speech means free from criminal penalty. Not freedom from consequences. I am free to say anything I want. My employer is free to fire me. That’s how it works. Stupid should hurt. One of the first things anyone in the business world learns is don’t put anything controversial on social media. In fact best to stay off social media altogether. And if you have something controversial or unpleasant to say, do it in person not electronically. Once something exists in electronic media including email it can never be taken back.
