He’s correct, actually. Congress does have the inherent power to jail people. It’s a pity the Republicans never did it when they had the chance.

Impeachment excepted, where in the Constitution does it say Congress can act as both a judiciary and a law enforcement agency? Simply because it was done in the past does not mean it is Constitutional and right.
