It’s headquartered in Wisconsin, but they run their scam all over the country. They find a cross somewhere on public property, claim a local complained and threaten a lawsuit. Most of their targets can’t afford the court costs involved in fighting such a lawsuit and take the crosses down. The threat alone is enough for them to usually get their way.
They pulled this stunt in my wife’s hometown. The town removed the Christmas cross on the water tower. But it was replaced by hundreds of crosses on private homes.
Some outfit from wisconsin is also trying to get people on the boards of rural electric coops across the country to promote the green agenda.
