It seems to be working - witness Brennan trying to throw Comey under the bus yesterday. Which is also a tacit admission that there was illegal activity involved in pushing the dossier.
If what you say is true, and it quite possibly is, then more proof that even, comey, who thought he was in The Club, was nothing but a useful idiot like, Strzok, Page, McCabe, Priestap, Yates, Baker, Ohr’s, etc etc etc. They all thought they’d get membership to The Club. Doubt it. And, I’m thinking that outside of their text messages, emails, etc, to each other, there’s nothing linking them back to the real Shot Callers.
If they had been successful, they would have been rewarded with promotions, etc, and we would never know about any of this.
Well, they weren’t successful, and they could be finding out what it’s like to be cannon fodder and be the some of the most expendable, useful idiots around.
I will say, though, that whoever conjured up this scheme, if they walk away from this, then they are scary-smart. There are so many moving parts to this thing and other than these morons, nothing seems to be heading further up the ladder, for now, at least.
