So, if Thomas Jefferson is deleted from history, then there is no “Separation of Church and State” establishment clause! It doesn’t exist in the Constitution, but Jefferson wrote a letter in 1802 regarding a “wall” of separation of church and state at the federal level in response to a query about state separation. Much later this was what atheists and others used as a pretext to tear down church artifacts in government.

No Jefferson, no stripping of God from government!

That is an interesting point. You know I often wondered if Trump wrote a letter to the Danbury Baptists that there was no such thing as separation of church and state. That the true meaning was that the government could not establish thier own religion like the Church of England, if it would hold the same power as Jeffersons letter did to the Danbury Baptists.
