Ben Carson has fired back at Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Mich., after the controversial freshman congresswoman criticized him after a hearing Tuesday.
Omar knocked the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) secretary over his conduct during an appearance before the House Financial Services Committee.
"Not sure he was fully awake, maybe he meant to reclaim his time back to sleep," she quipped. She was playing off of Carson's request for time during a testy exchange with Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.

I don’t think anything ‘shakes’ Ben Carson. He knows who he is, what he’s made of, and from whence his strength is derived.
But it may make others wake up and think :-)

I think we have a Leader now who is a lot smarter than they are! - and a lot smarter than any leader we’ve had in a long time. He is discombobulating them in hilarious ways.

There’s no good in getting ‘mad’. Better to be wise, as I believe Carson’s life has led him to be.
I don’t mean he should lose him temper. I mean that he should get mad in the sense that he should gird his loins for a fight.

Er, in case you haven't noticed, our country is under attack. Freedom, decency, common sense, even reality itself are under attack.
I’ll relax a little when you can show a little bit that the overall mass media distortion influence isn’t still a defining factor to millions in the U.S. and even more so abroad, and
when as far as ‘discontent’ in academia goes (must be slight) you can counter the overwhelming bias evidenced by any youTube video of a conservative speaking on campus, and
when you can list a few antifa convictions AND sentencings for felony assault, battery, property destruction, intimidation etc.
And Dr. Carson, who has already lived a long life full of dedication to his fellow man, should do...what?

I believe in our System, our Constitution. It has been under stress many times during our history, but it is still the Law of the Land. And I believe that there are still people in positions of power who are trying their best to ensure that the Constitution will prevail.
Most of the people with whom I share everyday life are pretty content - a lot of them have become even more content since the advent of President Trump.
I don’t have much interest in ‘firebrands’ and their wayward solutions to problems that haven’t yet fully bloomed.
You are correct. Dr. Carson is an intelligent gentleman. Omar is an ill-mannered Islamist.

Our republic is under sustained legal, and treasonous illegal assault.
Our constitutional republic is in mortal danger from those Very many who hate it.
Yes, we have Many patriots; and we have a little breathing room,
but is a razor thin margin.
I’ve known a lot of people who were somewhat ‘ill-mannered’, due to lack of quality upbringing. But many of them at least had individual intelligence, instead of just brainwashing :-)
