I doubt any President in the past who had a Mueller-style Witchunt into every aspect of their lives would emerge completely clean and innocent - yet Trump did.

That’s setting the bar kind of low, but yes, he’s been very honest and transparent. He was also a little too trusting of Paul Ryan and seemed to go in thinking that his party would have his back. Naive.

Blunt candor is not exactly the same thing as fundamental honesty.
I call this more of the tyranny of recency.
I chose to vote for Trump the day he announced, but I am past tired of him being vaunted as the Paragon of Paragons. (Ted Malloch, this week: Demi-god.)
