Lol, did you read the article? This piece has nothing to do with why Donald Trump won election in 2016. This article is about why he is favored to win re-election in 2020.

That is a very big difference.

Try to pay attention.

Well, sure! My point was that in 2016 personalities played a big part. But that was just an example. The same can be said about any election, including the one coming up in 2020.

But the article ignored that. Bottom line: Elections are decided by more things than just economics. But of course economists don’t want to hear that. They love to predict things based solely on graphs and charts.

It would be quite dangerous for us to get overconfident in 2020 because of those graphs and charts.

I never get overconfident. I live my life hoping for the best while preparing for the worst.
