As this Lord’s Day unfolds Orthodox FReepers will be praying the Great Ektania during Orthros (Matins) and Divine Liturgy which includes this petition:
“For the President of the United State, for all civil authorites, and for our Armed Forces [in defense of peace and freedom] everywhere, let us pray to the Lord....Lord, have mercy”
