Humanitarian aid volunteer Scott Warren, 36, of Ajo, Arizona, was arrested by US Border Patrol agents on January 17, 2018

He was charged with harboring and conspiracy to transport illegal aliens

Warren works with No More Deaths, a humanitarian aid group that offers potentially life-saving supplies to migrants crossing the border

Since 2001, more than 3,000 migrants have died crossing the border with Mexico in areas where temperatures can reach as high as 125 degrees

Federal prosecutors say Warren let Kristian Perez-Villanueva of El Salvador and Arnaldo Sacaria-Goday of Honduras stay at NMD's facility in January

Warren's defense attorney said he's only guilty of being a 'good Samaritan'

They come because they know they’ll be taken care of.

FTA:

The bodies of more than 3,000 migrants have been found in the southern Arizona desert since 2001, according to data collected by the Arizona Open GIS Initiative.

As I stated above: NO good options

Harboring illegals. Is illegal. You decide if you're a patriot, or a traitor by assisting invaders. He got caught and must do time in prison. You want to be a good samaritan, go to those craphole countries and assist them there so they won't come here.

If Mister Virtue Signal can't do the time, then he shouldn't do the crime.

It makes him feel good to hate America. It makes him feel good to aid invaders set on voting away American values.

I hope going to prison over it makes him feel really really good.

So, as long as my intentions are good as defined by a defense attorney, I can disregard the law?

All the employers who hire illegals should suffer the same fate.

From personal experience:
THAT is a great comment.

You don’t solve every problem, but you solve a whole lot more than you can in America after they’ve arrived

5-6 entire families are much better off because we’re in Batangas, not Texas

It’s a (VERY small) sacrifice, but “when we’ve been there 10,000 years”
It will be a source of eternal joy

“He got caught and must do time in prison. “

Back in the hippie days a nun broke into a nuclear facility. Yep, jail time. I am okay with that.

And how many more will die in anticipation of getting this kind of help that will never come?

He is causing more deaths than he is avoiding.

Exactly. Indirectly, this sanctimonious a-hole is supporting cross border sex-trafficking.

Better yet, life in a death camp prison, psychological torture, mind altering drugs to make him into a zombie put him into a CMU and then secretly excute him but call it suicide after faking the paperwork.

Justice the all Amerikan way!

Maybe Big Bubba (& pals) will convince Pajama Boy that violating Federal immigration laws is very unwise.

And she was totes cool with going to prison, correct?

I’m quite certain this guy is fine with 5, 10, maybe 12 years. He knew the risks going in and it’s a chance he was willing to take. Sometimes we grab the brass ring ... sometimes the brass ring grabs us.

It’s unclear to me why he needs an attorney, frankly.
