Their position is that if the Mueller team and the FBI did not inspect the DNC server, then how can they know that the server was hacked. This logical argument makes sense –

The DNC has never allowed the FBI access to their server. Instead, DNC said they had a private third party expert look at the server, thereby completely compromising any sort of chain of custody. Kinda makes you wonder how they could get away with that. But then...... never mind.
