My son-in-law’s mother was a good friend of Jennifer. She is heartbroken. Apparently Jennifer was terrified of her ex-husband and didn’t trust him. She moved her kids from Hartford to New Caanan to get away from him. What a sad story. Five kids have now lost both of their parents. How horrible. I am so sorry for your son-in-law's mother.
I'm in Connecticut... we are hearing about this constantly in the news here, as you can imagine. You are correct, from what I've heard, that Jennifer was terrified of her ex-husband and didn't trust him, and that she moved her kids to get away from him. Just tragic...
