I hope Ron Johnson s correct HOWEVER with every Dem voting no tariffs AND half of Republicans voting no tariffs they may be able to over ride, we will see!!! These BASTARDS have been given the most conservative POTUS in DECADES and they give us the MIDDLE FINGER!! These BASTARDS need to be primaried BUT we all know how that goes!! I am BEYOND PISSED I finally SEE eyes wide open they honestly don’t give a damn about the country, constituents, or ANYTHING but themselves, their power, and their BIG donors!!! Who are “half of the Republicans voting for no tariffs”? I have not seen such a list or even a mention of one. I did read here 3-4 were against it but that is not near enough to overturn a veto.
That aside Trump is well within his authority to initiate the tariffs.
