U.S. Navy releases smoking gun video of Iran removing unexploded limpet mine from oil tanker’s hull
NOQ Report ^ | 6/13/2019 | JD Rucker

If there were any doubts Iran is responsible for the attacks on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, a new report should put those doubts to rest. The United States has video of Iran removing unexploded mines from the side of one of the ships that was hit.

The Iranian ship can be seen pulling alongside one of the tankers and removing what appears to be a limpet mine while believing they were not being watched. The video above, released by the United States Navy, shows the actions by the Iranians. The image below released by CentCom shows two areas, one where an exploded mine did damage and the other of a mine that apparently didn’t detonate.

US Navy releases smoking gun video of Iran removing unexploded limpet mine from oil tankers hull

There is little Iran can do or say now other than pretend like it wasn’t them in the video or that the video itself was doctored.

Iran must back down or face war As my colleague noted earlier, Iran is using rumors of war as a way to draw international sympathy and bring world leaders to the negotiating table where they can try to shift sentiment to blame the United States. Iran is in dire straits with their economic situation but they have no intentions of backing down on their nuclear ambitions despite protestations against them.

They are playing with fire in more ways than one. As much as I’m against war of any kind, my inclinations to avoid any intervention by the United States military has a line drawn at the point of attacks on us or our allies. That’s what this is. They are trying to destabilize the world oil market and harm their competitors through terrorism. Perhaps they believe they can pressure the United States to lift sanctions. Maybe they think this is a way to get the world to force the United States to let them export their oil. At this point, their acts of desperation seem to be unprecedented, even for a regime that likes operating in the shadows and using proxies instead of getting their own hands dirty.

The increased United States presence in the Gulf region following the defection of Iranian Brigadier General Ali Nasiri seems to have forced Iran to change their plans. If they were hoping a proxy war alone would be enough to draw the United States into a mistake, Nasiri’s defection and the subsequent increase in our presence there changed those plans.

Acts of terrorism like this are unacceptable alternatives. They need to simply back down and come to the table with their nuclear ambitions completely abolished. At this point, it’s clear they cannot handle even monitored access to nuclear materials in any form or fashion.

The Iranian government and military are absolute cowards for going after civilians at sea. Moreover, destabilizing the oil market harms billions of people worldwide. Their shame is incalculable. At least it should be.

Even if the Iranians did it, it’s not our fight. It’s the fight of the Gulf states and the nations that flagged the ships. Let THEM try a regime change. As for the USA being harmed be a “destabilized” oil market, any effect on pump prices has been minuscule. This is nothing like the first Gulf war, where there was a good case for our participation.

If they were saving the ship by removing mines planted by someone else:

  1. Why deny doing that?
  2. Why not produce the mines as evidence of whos mines they are?"

Just run it backwards.

I did. I noticed that when you play it backwards there is a quiet voice on the soundtrack repeatedly saying something like, "Number nine. number nine, number nine. Paul is dead." Not sure what that is about.

Posted above”

“#2: Every limpet mine ever made has “non-removal devices” built in, so that if anybody tries to pry it off without going through a complex series off steps known only to the maker and the frogmen...”BOOM!” If the limpet removers were not part of the same gang as the limpet planters, it would have been one (expendable) EOD guy in a 4 meter skiff trying to get it off. Everybody else would have been 500m back.”

Travis' point that removing somebody else's mine is very dangerous is the only reason the video is relevant to understanding who planted the mine. Obviously people remove bombs and mines all the time that aren't theirs. But they do it very carefully since it is a very risky undertaking.

It is also possible that the mine was placed by some Iranian proxy, or they just recognized it since presumably their EOD guys know what various mines look like. If the attacks were instigated by some generic Middle Eastern terrorist types they probably got their explosives from Iran. Those guys run the chain of Terrorists 'r Us supply stores.

They just happened to be nearby...... not likely. I think they were in the area to set off the mines at a convenient depth for the ship to sink in.

Someone forgot to check to circuit and will be killed after getting back to port.

This whole thing is a false flag. None of the ships have sunk and neither of them are US flagged vessels. They took no damage below the waterline so forget torpedoes or mines. More likely RPGs and this reeks of the CIA or maybe even Mossad.

My guess is Trump knows but will just use it to get the Iranians to the table. He got played by the generals and his advisors on the Syrian chemical attack. He must have wised up by now.

Remember, Trump also believed Jussie Smollett at first, and tweeted his regrets to Jussie

Can you point me to that tweet. I have looked on q map which has a search feature for Trump tweets, and I am not finding it. Maybe the search function is not working as intended, or putting in Jussie’s name is not what Trump used.

I just don’t want to repeat anything that I don’t know is true. Thanks

Bit of a difference between Smollett and bombed oil tankers...and Iran was obviously doing something with the boat and now there’s indications they are keeping it from being towed....but concern trolls gotta do what concern trolls do...don’t dey?

Not if they’re both false flags

I learned to be skeptical when we invaded Iraq for non-existent WMDs
