Greg Cosko was appointed CEO of Hathaway Dinwiddie in 1996, but his history with the company goes back even further.

Cosko first joined the company in January 1975 as an assistant payroll clerk at One Market Plaza and worked as a time keeper at the site. Over the years, he worked his way through the ranks of the company — an experience he believes was instrumental in his ability to understand all facets of the business and become an effective leader.

“I got to know a lot of trade workers personally that I would see in the decades that followed,” he said.

His big break came in the late 1980s when he was put in charge of construction of The Getty Center in Los Angeles, which took eight years.
