Why anyone is still traveling to that place is beyond me
I was thinking the same thing and it occurred to me that many of these trips were booked 6-9 months ago. Some people that have a strict set vacation schedule book trips like school vacation week a year in advance.
So, they will not get back their deposit or the money for the entire trip including airline flights if they cancel now.
I am starting to wonder IF this is an act of either a psycho or a terrorist. It has to be crushing their economy going forward.
A pathologist on Fox News this morning thought it was most likely a pesticide being used and not methanol. Apparently, 2 people died in the USVI’s a couple years back from an illegal pesticide that is colorless and odorless. It causes the same pulmonary edema.
How can they believe the world is like Mister Rogers Neighborhood? All a big human family with friends you haven’t met yet and people to share the wonders of harmony and compassion with. ——In Dominican Republic or Venezuela? Gimme a break.
How about: “buying a ticket there is evidence of mental illness” to be in revised edition of psychiatrists’ DSM volumes?
Agree..... I never thought of the Dominican Republic as a tourist spot in the first place.
