Your guys in Poland (socialists of whom many were just former communists who just changed their label) lost the national election in a landslide victory by the Conservatives, and you used EU institutions to attack that victorious Polish party for winning and for carrying out the mandates they were elected for - like house cleaning of the former communists still resting comfortably in the judiciary.
Poland has since recognized that not merely sovereignty but diversity of opinion is being thwarted by the imperium of the EU, and Poland wants nothing of it. It is not merely sovereignty that is threatened by the climate accord, but the Liberty of Poland to act in favor of its own prosperity and development, by its own policies.

First of all, the whole CO2 emissions of the EU is just ~9% of the global total. So, leaving all the other issues aside, these fools, with their “goals”, just push more industry to Asia and thus increase the global emissions.
