Off topic perhaps, but I wonder if these debates will cause some to drop out, and/or lack enough support in polls and fundraising to be included in the future debates.
Yang, Delaney, Williamson, are not taken seriously as candidates. And if Gillibrand is really at a tiny percentage in polling, if that doesn’t spike for her, she can’t be taken seriously either.
At least four or five candidates will drop out by the end of this year die to lackluster fundraising. Then after the first primaries in Iowa, we’ll see another five drop out. By the time we’re done with South Carolina, we should be down to four or five remaining candidates.
