LOL, well....I admit that I get a fair number of the “TL/DR” responses, which understand. I get wordy, but...I do use FR to sharpen my writing skills, such as they are.

I have never been able to deliver the pithy one line responses like some do (which I really enjoy) and when texting, I cannot use the shorthand...if I have to say “Be right back” I have to spell it out, not use the “BRB” acronym.

I know Strunk & White advocate the direct, less wordy approach as the pathway towards more powerful writing, but...I rarely succeed in following their advice!
