Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez After Visiting Border Detention Center: "I Was Not Safe From The Officers"

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) speaks to the press following a congressional delegation's visit to the Clint migrant facility in Texas. The congresswoman railed against conditions at the Texas facility and said she herself did not feel "safe" in the presence of border patrol officers.

"In that last facility, I was not safe from the officers in that facility," Ocasio-Cortez said Monday afternoon.

AOC talked about "abuse in the facilities" and how people were told to drink water out of the toilet. The Congresswoman drove off as a reporter asked if she witnessed the atrocity:

Either my computer or the video on RCP is screwed up. Probably both. But I heard the full quote repeated all over You Tube while I was working. There was no running water, so the guards supposedly told the women to drink from the toilet. Odd, but if there is no running water, how could there be water in the toilet. And in the 21st century, people don't drink tap water, let alone toilet water. That's why G-d gave us bottled water, which I don't doubt the guards had boxes full of, unless they ran out of that, too, because of the delays in Congress with emergency funding. As for not "feeling safe" with the guards, I wouldn't feel safe with AOC in the same room with me. I feel safer with two oceans separating us. It's you poor folks who have to endure this...this...Hillary in training.

Right, a sink integrated at the top of the toilet is somehow ‘forcing them to drink from the toilet’.

As to the notion of ‘not feeling safe’... From all the other insanity coming from this woman, how is anyone to believe her? And, if I were to guess, BP Agents probably are not the warm and fuzzy types she’s accustomed to in DC.
