Donald Trump braved rainy weather to deliver a speech at his Fourth of July 'Salute to America' event from behind a panel of bulletproof glass.
The president welcomed crowds on the National Mall to a 'very special' Fourth of July holiday before launching in his pre-prepared remarks.
'Today we come together as one nation with this very special Salute to America,' he told the sea of red, white and blue-clad revelers.

The attendees were very upbeat and positive, as were the millions of viewers. If a handful of Liberal newsreaders boycotted and otherwise disparaged it, no big deal.

Either you have prepared remarks, or you don’t. IF you prepared them, clearly you prepared them BEFORE the speech, so obviously the were “pre”.
Noticed that, too. And from those who supposedly speak “proper” English.
Trump publicly trolled those who are suffering from the effects of #Ameriphobia, the irrational hatred of America.
And how about “pre-ordering” a book or other product?

Personally, I think he should have stood in the rain. It would have conveyed a message of toughness. (Fraid of a little rain?)

With all the MSM talk of Trump as Evil Clone of Hitler—I don’t blame Trump for the Bulletproof glass. Still in that crowd anyone who took a pot shot at Trump would have been torn to pieces before he could get off a second round.
Did you notice the figures on top of the Lincoln memorial on the right side? Couldn’t tell what they were doing up there.
It was scary to see the POTUS and VPOTUS on the same stage...you know who is third in line of succession.
