I mean I guess we shouldn’t be shocked she said this. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has said almost every terrible thing under the sun. She’s peddled anti-Semitic tropes. She’s rooted against our troops during our intervention in Somalia in the early 1990s. She’s failed miserably to identify that those who committed the 9/11 attacks were radical Muslim terrorists, instead, she trivialized this heinous act as one where “some people did something.” So, when she thinks that we should have open borders, sadly, it’s not as shocking as some of the other trash she’s spewed n recent months. Omar said that we should have a debate about the elimination of these “rogue” border security and immigration enforcement agencies because they’re terrorizing illegals or something. She relayed her idea on BET’s Black Coffee Live, with host Marc Lamont Hill—who was fired from CNN for calling for the destruction of Israel. So, this was really a coffee meets bagel-type event, a match made in heaven between Omar and Hill, right?

During an appearance on BET's digital series "Black Coffee Live," Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) claimed border patrol agents were terrorizing immigrants and said Congress should have a conversation about eliminating border patrol and enforcement agencies.[…]
Referring to the border patrol and immigration officials as "rogue agencies," Omar said the organizations tasked with defending the southern border and processing illegal immigrants operate with "no accountability, no transparency in how they conduct their business."

During the interview, Omar after criticizing the immigration and border patrol officials went on to call for the complete elimination of their agencies.
"We should be having a conversation about eliminating their existence. Reforming the agencies that deal with our most vulnerable," Omar said.
She then went on to allege the border patrol agents are terrorizing immigrants illegally crossing the Mexican-American border when they are taken into custody by the agency.
"We are continuing to allow for them to terrorize people who are running away from the most horrific circumstances," Omar added.
No. No. No. These are illegal aliens. Sorry, you don’t just get to stay here if manage to cross the border. This isn’t a game of running bases here. Enforcement of borders is a key function of the state, though we’ve seen over the years that Democrat’s lust to consolidate overwhelming political power must come in the form of an open border agenda. They need illegals to do this and deportations run counter to that goal, no matter how many of these criminal aliens murder, rape, steal, and drive drunk. Also, can we please circle back to her defense of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) trash claim that we have Nazi-style concentration camps at the southern border? We don’t, but Omar said that because people are concentrated and in a camp, the phrase makes sense. Yeah, maybe…to someone who is historically illiterate? It’s been a whirlwind of crazy from this far left slice of House Democrats. And it’s not going to stop anytime soon.
Pretty quick debate. A fair number of Democrats have already expressed uncontrolled borders is a ridiculous idea.
She doesn’t believe in America as a sovereign nation. But then, neither do most Democrats these days.
