I offered this theory to my son, who usually tells me I'm sexist or a homophobe. This time he said it is not only a valid point but probably spot on. Tell me if you agree.

The reason the US Women's Soccer Team is so good is because there are a large number of US players that are homosexual. Gay women tend to be “butch” and so they're stronger than an average heterosexual woman.

The reason the US Men's Soccer Team is so bad is because a large number of US players are homosexual. Gay men tend to be ‘effeminate” and so they're weaker than the average heterosexual man.
