I agree with this. There should not be “women’s” teams or “women’s” leagues. I believe in equal rights regardless of gender. If women or trans want to try out for the “A” team, let them. Let the best athletes compete against each other regardless of race, sexual preference, gender, etc.

There’s something to be said for that. Under U.S. law, how is a women’s sports league any different than a segregated restaurant from the Jim Crow era?

"Let the best athletes compete against each other regardless of race, sexual preference, gender, etc."

The problem with this is that there ARE real categories that make a difference. This is impossible to deny:

AGE: we don't play 10 year old, 20 year olds, and 70 year olds against each other in football.

SIZE: a 125 pound boxer doesn't go in the ring against 250 pound boxer.

DRUG/DOPE/HORMONE ISSUES: People on steroids don't compete with people not on steroids, And similarly, people with testosterone of 1.7 10 nmol/L. do not compete with people with testosterone 7.0 nmol/L, let alone 70 nmol/L or 700 nmol/L.

That's fairness based on real and dramatically significant differences.

And it would prevent even hormonally altered men, from playing againg biological women.

Yep, yours is the very best idea. From a common sense standpoint it is flawless.

And it will never happen.
