GET ACOSTA! BUT GET THE RIGHT GUY, TOO
Ann Coulter Dot Com ^ | 10 July 2019 | Ann Coulter

Posted on 07/10/2019 5:19:08 PM PDT by Rummyfan

Now that the media is finally, at long last, interested in the 2006 Jeffrey Epstein child sex case, perhaps we can get an answer to the most intriguing question: Why does he keep escaping justice on essentially the same child molestation charges?

The only reason for the media’s flood-the-zone coverage of Epstein -- 13 years late -- is that they think they’ve found a Trump connection. Oh happy day. (Trump was friendly with Epstein 15 years ago -- before banning him from Mar-a-Lago for life after he hit on a young girl working there.)

The main hook is: Trump’s Labor secretary, Alex Acosta, accepted a disreputable plea deal with Epstein while serving as a U.S. attorney under President Bush. If fixating on Acosta is what it takes to keep this case from being brushed under the rug (again), then I guess you can have him.

But just between us, Acosta's not the real villain.

It’s easy to forget, but Epstein’s arrest this week marks the third attempted prosecution of him for sex with underage girls.

It’s certainly been easy for the media to forget! In The New York Times’ version of events -- and that of every other news outlet -- the Palm Beach police discovered Epstein was paying minor girls from West Palm Beach for sex ... and then took the case straight to the FBI!

That seems odd: Why wouldn’t police bring their case to the local prosecutor, who was overseeing the investigation and issuing subpoenas?

Because they did.

but when the truth is exposed and I hope it will be, many prominent people will be locked up

Are you kidding?

We've already heard more or less all the names we are going to hear, which is practically none, and except for one or two sacrificial Republicans no one is going to jail.

Unfortunately, the local prosecutor in this case was a sleazebag, activist Democrat named Barry Krischer. ...

Coulter is making an important point — that the real story and the real villain here is Krischer, not Acosta.

I’m just wondering when the actual suicides will start. Perhaps followed by some Arkanicides. That will be a barometer of how successful things are going. Don’t forget that another form of Arkanicide is prop jet crashes.

This is where conservatives fail. The left is doing what they can to target Acosta which makes it all about Trump. Don’t take the bait. The real criminals are the Epstein and his associates yet to be discovered.

Either Epstein decamps to somewhere with a non-extradition agreement, or he becomes a victim of Arkancide.

On a muggy October morning in 2007, Miami’s top federal prosecutor, Alexander Acosta, had a breakfast appointment with a former colleague, Washington, D.C., attorney Jay Lefkowitz...

Alberto Gonzalez resigned August 27, 2007, effective September 17, 2007, Mukasey didn't take over until November 9, 2007.

I’m not sure Acosta’s guilty of wrongdoing. He accepted a plea deal because he didn’t think he could prove the case in court within a reasonable doubt.

Acosta is not going anywhere IMHO. Trump will “investigate” the past plea bargain and clear him. I think Trump likes him and by all accounts he does his job well. Acosta came out and fought hard to protect himself so all signs to me point to him sticking around.

Go away Ann

Acosta was the only good guy in the entire situation

Florida Democrats who were in charge of this were going to let the pervert go

Acosta stepped over legal boundaries and got this pervert to at least admit to being a pedophile

Why didn’t you do a better job Ann? Bill Mar visited Rape Island with Slick Willy?

The only question he dodged was the one about Epstein being an “Intelligence Agent.” And he dodged that one very well.

Because he is

Heck, CIA/FBI/Gov probably even paid for “Rape Island” this was a deep state mission to gain control of politicians, celebrities, media and business men.

Why do many business men, politicians, media, celebs sing the exact same tune? What does the deep state have on them?

This is all starting to become clear now

Everything is “breaking news” now, Lady. Also, everything comes under the heading, “Can we get Trump with this”. As falls in the forest. My feeling is, if it doesn’t fall on a Democrat, it is a waste of energy.

Cabinet secretaries come and they go and are soon forgotten, but a person like Bill Clinton always remains in the public spotlight. Shine some more light on him and keep shining it. Of course, there’s always the chance something might happen and a terminal illness suddenly intervene. How is his health lately??

It will be very interesting to see how many other ‘important’ figures are drawn into this. There’s also the scenario that Epstein gets off easy again, but that is less likely now.
