It’s not this Christian player that has a problem, team or no team. She is already on the winning team as these other women will find out to their eternal pain and shame.

Right. If she was playing for the U.S. team they might have won the World Cup.
Oh, wait a minute ...

I wonder if Jaelene Hinkle is a descendant, as I am, of the first high Lutheran pastor in America, Rev. Anthony Henckel who arrived here in the early 1700s.

it has been suggested that she was "invited" just so the coach wouldn't be accused of discrimination....
she should sue though.....a national team has no right to impose its religious views on others....

I didn’t either. There’s no way anyone could have known that.

Read her story. She was invited to training camp for the national team a couple of years ago and refused to report. Thats often a career-ending move in any sport.

...a national team has no right to impose its religious views on others....Not sure it's imposing religious views.
Would you encourage a Muslim soccer player to sue because she felt the US national team's uniforms were too revealing?

This team full of radical lesbians, coached by a lesbian, had one blowout on their way to the title. These radical dykes humiliated and ran up the score against an overmatched team from Thailand. It was the most outrageous example of unsportsmanlike play Ive seen. Totally uncalled for. If they could have scored 20 they would have. The rest of the the games they could have easily lost. France was every bit as good as this team. I didnt see the match they lost to 15 year old boys, but its certainly easy to see how it happened. I was hoping they would lose. To hell with a bunch of anti-American lesbians that badmouthed the country they were playing for.

...the truth is there is no contest between Dunn and Hinkle at Left D. Furthermore, it is a sad commentary on the Coaching that they deliberately put themselves in that position for ideology.I admit that I know very little about the game but the coach's story was Hinkle could only play left back and she needed more versatile players for depth.
Thoughts?

But none of that apparently mattered to the womens team. The Irish Times, which called Hinkle the finest left-back in the NWSL, wrote in June, Hinkle likely would have been a fish out of water on the uber-woke womens national team, some of whose biggest stars are openly lesbian, raising questions about whether she would have thrown off the squads chemistry.Similarly, Jackie Robinson was a "fish out of water", throwing off the team's "chemistry".
Who would buy such a bigoted rational?
To: SoConPubbie
What soccer reasons?According to the coach, Hinkle was very strong at her position, left back, but the coach felt she needed people who were versatile and could play other positions as well.
The coach was concerned about depth and felt Hinkle was limited to one position.
I have no way to know if that's legit or not.

Even so, she was later invited to prep with the national team for another tournament and she went. She was cut from for soccer reasons when they had to choose the final team. You keep saying she was cut for soccer reasons. The lesbian activist head coach is the one who cut her for "soccer reasons", whereas Hinkle is widely believed to be the best player at left back in women's professional soccer. If Greg Popovich cut Kawhi Leonard from the Olympic team for "basketball reasons" would you automatically accept it as gospel?
To: semimojo
I, for one, don’t beleive the Lesbo.
They lie at the drop of a hat!

Maybe in the long run they did her a favor. Now she won’t be associated with their vulgarity.
I hope she’s playing the long game. God is.
