“The national restaurant industry is bracing for a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation that could round up hundreds of migrant families that have received deportation orders. “
So . . .
The association knowingly & willingly hires and protects criminal, illegal aliens.
They’re right up there with the National Chamber of Commerce.
I’ll eat at home from now on.

Cooking isn’t rocket science; cooking vids are everywhere.
Buying one’s own foodstuffs is cheaper & safer and preparing a meal is an active exercise that engages the mind.
But even a menu plagiarizer like me knows that the same identical meal cooked & served at home somehow just isn’t the same without a restaurant wrapped around it. That’s what my wife tells me.
But this is different & it will hit restauranteurs with a double whammy.
ICE raids on restaurants are certain to get local health departments involved as well. I knew someone in the reserves whose civilian job was inspecting restaurants. The horror stories he told cannot be imagined by anyone who wasn’t there.

The government has made it nearly impossible for the restaurant industry to hire Americans . Americans can sit on their fat lazy asses and get ebt , housing and everything else . Theres no incentive to work in our industry when you can make almost as much not working. Also American college kids and high school kids have never been lazier . They dont work either . If it wasnt for J1 students from over seas Id be out of business as would many in my tourist area of NH. Eastern Europeans work so much harder than Americans. Should have an option to trade citizens with other countries . Dont blame the restaurants who are just trying to survive as we collect room and meals taxes and other bullshit that has nothing to do with us. Im 40 and a proud American who owns a small restaurant. My best help is mostly immigrants here with either a green card or temp work visa . Wish I could keep them! Dont slams the restaurants they have no choice and they are paying these people just as much if the worker was American because the work force is so thin . 🇺🇸
