We found a pottery shard on the location outside of Farmington. Stop the presses. Get an archeologist. As an aside, I lived briefly in Hobbs back around 1985. I remember that the biggest kicks that the “hands” got was riding around in the back of a pickup on the oil field roads and shooting jack rabbits by the thousands. I only did it once.
