Poco was another HUGELY underrated band - a part of the SoCal country Rock scene of the early 70s.

I was a 19 y/o kid from Ohio who moved to LA/Hollywood and still recall the Troubadour Club was a short 10 minute drive from front door. Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Frey/Henley - so many performed at that club.

btw, I’ve been a longtime fan of your cousin Dan’s band, too.

Roger that, and thanks.

Yes, I completely missed out on Poco. First heard this song a couple of weeks ago: Poco - You Better Think Twice.

Great proto-band.

Jim Messina became better-known when he was "sittin' in" with Kenny Loggins.

Bassist Timothy B. Schmit went on to join The Eagles.

Richie Furay, Rusty Young, and George Grantham didn't do that bad either.

Poco

You’re taking me back and reminding me how many memorable bands came out of the Buffalo Springfield.

CSN (Stills)
CSNY (Stills, Young)
Poco (Richie Furay, Jim Messina, Rusty Young)
Loggins and Messina (Jim Messina)
Manassas (Stephen Stills)
Stephen Stills (solo)
Neil Young (solo)

and on, and on and on.....
