“It is all fine and good to try to improve things, and to fight injustice. But you gotta do something more than just bitch about it all the time. You can’t just demagogue all the time, grandstanding and photo-opping your way through problems. And a squad of unaccomplished 20-somethings don’t have much life experience, or experience working with others, or governing even a small business office let alone an agency or country. They have been in Congress for a few weeks and demand the world for it.”

*************

Wow! A truly incisive and outstanding comment. Well done my FRiend.

These four are just self righteous whiners and complainers who have no accomplishments of their own to speak of. Its like someone taking you in in your time of need and then you go off criticizing them for not not meeting your expectations or doing enough to satisfy your every want.

These people are disgusting and reprehensible ingrates.

But they are also dangerous and venomous liars that with an enabling media behind them. Thank God Trump has the courage to call them out. He is saying what millions are thinking.

Thanks!

I figure these four - all political novices, some or all of whom were “auditioned” for a part in a district (by some pretty smart and calculating people behind the scenes) - are rubbing Nancy Pelosi the wrong way because they just have no idea how political sausage is made. They are young, inexperienced, and very outspoken and this not only ruffles feathers but is very disruptive to the “political/party order”. You gotta earn some stripes but they are out there demanding their stars.

And being 20-somethings with little experience in the real world and suddenly bestowed with a semblance of power and a lot of media spotlight is going right to their heads. They have been coddled for much of their lives. The Somali woman, she had a tough go of things I will admit, but you are right her particular ingratitude is insulting to most Americans. This so-called “racist country” invited her in, made her a citizen, helped settle tens of thousands of her former countrymen and she doesn’t recognize she and her community are beneficiaries of the most generous and open and welcoming country on earth? All she can see is racism and hatred? I’d say this is her projection. She has hatred in her heart so she can’t see the love she has been given.

I speak particularly of AOC now but maybe the others... she was selected to run for a seat by backers who knew how to game it. Her district is more than D+20 so whomever wins the primary is almost assuredly going to win the general - and yet it is also one of the most apathetic districts in the country. If I recall, barely 14,000 people bothered to show up for the primary. This allowed someone radical who knew how to campaign and get out maybe 8000 voters in the entire district to sweep in and take out the incumbent. Someone who studied the districts and the trends engineered it. They ran as D but their real goal is national socialism.

And this is what they wanted. This is just anecdotal, but I’d say some of this comes from the resentment over the way Bernie was cheated in the primary, the way the superdelegates vote, and obviously by people who want to be disruptive and push the party leftward.

And worse of all, everything they say is projection. Russian collusion? That was the Democrats not Trump. Obstruction of justice? That was Hillary who deleted emails and smashed hard drives. National security risk - Hillary’s selling out to foreign donors and running a pay to play charity on the side of her high office. Racism? They are the ones who obsess about race all day every day. Nationalism? This is totally what Democrats are about, it goes all the way back to the Federalist movement they want a strong ‘national’ (federal) government. All of their talking points are projection. Remember when you point the finger at someone else, you are pointing 3 fingers back at yourself.

I think at this point Trump should hit them again this weekend. And keep hitting. He’s got nothing to lose they already officially and on the record called him a racist.

Call it the overton window, or call it the gary hart syndrome (gary hart’s ‘scandalous infidelity’ cost him the Dem nomination but led to Bill Clinton being able to apologize and be forgiven because it’s never as scandalous the second time, or third time), but the Dems have pushed this wide open - they played their hand way too early. By November 2020 their cries of racism will fall on deaf ears. People want to see governance. They want results. This Congress is by the do-nothingest Congress in history. They scuttled the infrastructure bill (which was fine by me). They rejected Trump’s offer to double the size of DACA. They cry about child separation which was a Clinton-Reno legal settlement and ignore that Trump signed an EO in the attempt to end it. All they do is investigate Trump and complain incessantly.

Trump can do a lot of tweeting between now and November 2020.
