Sure he can run for a third term. Just change the way terms are counted. Plus, constitutional requirements don’t count when they are ignored. pass a resolution that says Trump is eligible (as was done for McCain) and it’s a done deal.
FWIW, I don’t know that Trump would want a third term even if were eligible.
I just hope he has a successor picked out to carry on his work after he leaves.
