If an education gives marketable skills it has value.

If not then it’s a hobby.

So if someone knowingly got in debt for their hobby, while reports of others being unable to repay their loans were already rampant, why shouldn’t their taking on that debt reflect them engaging in fraud, where they never really expected to repay in the first place?

Mostly it is delaying the inevitable but parents still die and leave helpless kids behind.
