NY needs a 3 strikes law for all gang members and all violent crimes perpetrated by criminals. A separate prison for all lifer criminals where they have to work for their room, board, and guards. It would keep them busy and enable rewarding good behavior and punishing bad behavior. It would make jobs and pay for them. Prisoners can make more than license plates.
In fact this should be done in all 50 states and at the federal level too.

I believe that cops are more targeted than I am.
I believe that’s the fault of their administrators, superiors and ultimately the SOP.
I believe cops are purposefully trapped into that career.
I also plainly see that the playing field is skewed in their favor over normal citizens. I mean if someone kills my pet, do they get charged for “killing an officer”? No. If I tangle with the wrong people and then pull my gun will the courts be so lenient on me? No.
The entire way policing is done in this country is plain wrong and gets a lot of people killed.
But nothing will happen to them because they are of a favored skin color.
