Let me ask you a question...

If the President and US Government told Puerto Rico that all of its debt, to the penny, would be canceled, but:

It is no longer a Commonwealth of the United States .... it’s people are no longer considered US Citizens ... those that left the island after the hurricane, moved to Florida and are currently growing roots there, with no sign or desire to ever return to the island, are not US citizens and have to go back ... and they are forever an independent country

Would you be okay with that? I damned sure would.

100 percent I would be. One thing I was surprised about is that Puerto Rick only has 3 million on the mainland. The way it’s catered to, I thought it was 30 million at least.

Corruption is a fundamental part of latin american "culture". We certainly don't need to import any more of it.
