Attorneys for the Gibsons will have 14 days from Aug. 19 to respond to Oberlin Colleges motions. Miraldi wrote that he would rule on Oberlin Colleges motions by Sept. 9.
So far Oberlin's legal team has cost the college $36 million and now has five days - three working days counting the weekend - to file their appeal. If there's a master plan here, I'm not seeing it.
You didn't mention the millions that Oberlin's shysters have billed and collected from the College during the whole process.
Defense lawyers do not work on a contingent basis, unlike plaintiff lawyers, since if they win, they will not get paid any more than their regular rate, and they want paid... win or lose.
These sleazy defense lawyers were on the clock from day one, second one, and every thought they had, every shit they took, every dinner they had, and every dream that woke them, every other human activity they performed, was billable to Oberlin, and Oberlin will pay the shysters all of the money, plus a pound of flesh {blood included}.
