Sorry FRiend, but we have endless examples of the evil and oppressive nature of socialism and they still embrace it more each year. Government run health care.... they think it is great. You could make a very long list of other examples like centralized union run education, minimum wage, the homeless, and mass illegal immigration.
They are blind to reality.
I know they are, until they see the results for themselves. Everything else is chalked up to it not being done right.
