I don’t believe that is a photo of Pepper’s.
That isn’t the kind of place that would draw dozens of black patrons and it isn’t compatible with the rest of the district.
On the other hand, I do know where a place like that could be, and it was heavily damaged in the tornado on Memorial Day.
I haven't seen any evidence that the shooter was a racist. Crazy, evil, demented, and fixated on rape and murder but not a racist. And I read a lot of his twitter postings before his account was removed by Twitter, and I have read the comments by his African American friend from high school.
Thanks for posting a link to that article and video. The police did a superb job. The cops in Florida who failed to stop the shooting at the Stoneman Douglas High School should be forced to watch the videos of the Dayton Police in action to see what a correct response to an active shooter looks like.
From the About Section:
Mary Hill: Is this a black bar?
Thomas Pickens: No. A racially specific bar would most likely be illegal. Because that's f*cked up.
Paul Hoffman: No, but due to many Blacks who visit, it has led to many whites no (sic) visiting as much, so this is why you see a higher ratio of blacks to whites here
Mary Hill: Paul Hoffman IE a defacto segregated bar. I thought as much. This was a racially motivated attack.
Caleb: u wish
Roy Last: What a sad, sad remark/question Mary Hill.
Not too perfect when Dayton doofus is a basement anarchist who liked Faux and lived in his sisters basement.
Not too perfect when Dallas doofus dad is a nutroot crystal healer snake oil whack job who has a perfect democrat voting record, and doofus himself said no politics in his yaddayaddamanifesto.
If so her husband is rabidly anti-Trump.
Just watching the video, most of the people there was black.
’ [EL PASO SHOOTER’] Crusius used social media to express his support for Donald Trump...”
Anyone see that? I read the manifesto and unless I missed it, he wasn’t supporting Potus.
And Ned Pepper's doesn't look like a predominantly Black bar. The victims may just have been in the wrong part of the bar at the wrong time.
FWIW, Ned Pepper was a character in True Grit. Robert Duvall played him in 1969, and Barry Pepper played him in the 2010 remake.
That “news” site is garbage.
Aside from a entire section devoted to “OneObama”, they have another article there referring to the “presidents apparent white nationalist agenda.”
That's sort of how things are in a country with a lot of different groups.
When something horrible happens, people want to know if the perp was part of their own group - and then, if the victims were.
There's no evidence that the Dayton shooter was anti-Black or out to kill Black people.
