The first time I heard “Pumped Up Kicks” I was absolutely horrified. That a pretty hook would be about a boy happily shooting up his school. Now when I hear the song the lyrics don’t get to me any more and I (sorry to say) enjoy the tune.
Maybe that is not the way to go.

Note: Dayton shooter’s sister worked as a tourguide at the Missuola Smokejumper Visitor Center in Montana. Is this a ‘law enforcement connection’ the shooter detested?
